I didn't realize that this post have been hibernating in my pending write-ups section for so long and we went here during my birthday! It has been kinda hiatus lately resulting the degeneration of memory...

As a Starwood Privilege member, Rewards? It's just so easy to get. Dining privileges where you dine for free, great discounts rate at participating restaurants. Be it seasonal gourmet fares to authentic local treats.

Not cheap for sure, but for a fine dining experience and a 50% discount we get, we didn't complain. Total bill came up to about RM400++ after discount plus a complimentary Tiramisu (whole cake). Thanks to Starwood Privilege again :)

Ramadhan Santapan @ The Living Room, Westin. Let's Berbuka Puasa!
Another festive mood filled the month again; the Ramadhan.
A month bursting with buka puasa fare; bustling bazaar and stretches of feast offered by many restaurants.
During the one-month fasting period when Muslims fast, non-Muslims joined in the breaking fast affair too. But where to?
Here at Westin, they offer the Ramadhan Santapan, an international ramadhan feast featuring numerous delectable dishes. Believe it or not, there are about 700 dishes/ items.
Before breaking fast, we were served with 'Zam Zam Water' to cleanse our palate. The water was claimed to have healing qualities due to its high calcium and magnesium content. It was known that during Haji and Umra, the pilgrims are recommended to drink 'zam zam water' for thirst quenching and to cleanse their bodies. Dates and ulams were also served before breaking fast.

The weekend is hitting in again and we're so relieved thanks to the busy week we've been through......
Pamper and give yourself a break if you ever felt like you've just been through too much stress. I've always agree to that! An excuse without much guilt :)
Thanks to Ming & the Westin group, we and our makan soul-mates were given the chance to check out their new idea of B4 at QBA; the Latin Bar & Grill at the Westin hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
What's B4? The question popped into our minds quickly.
It's actually an abbreviation for Beer+BBQ+Banda+Bandido (Beer, BBQ, Band & Buffet).
B4 is a decadent garden party fiesta on a Saturday evening within Qba’s al fresco courtyard. As the first restaurant which offers such relaxing al fresco buffet dining, you'll get to enjoy live cooking of Latin grill and infused with South American flavours with fresh ingredients.
Ambiance
Expect an exclusive looking bar with cigar lounge upon entering and as we move downstairs leading to the courtyard, there was another beautiful bar waiting for us with live band and what's more to expect from the extensive area laid with an immense selection of food.
