Tung Sing @ Kajang Town

I remembered well my English cousin from London once asked me when we brought her out for breakfast during her visit to Malaysia:

"Why do you guys have noodles like, ALL the time?"
"It's SO HEAVY for breakfast!"
"I still love my cereals & milk"

Come to think of it, it's really unusual for us, not to have a bowl of piping hot noodles to start off our day right?

When dad exclaimed to us one day that he had the BEST TOAST in town, we were excited to check out its whereabouts.

Spotted: Located at Kajang Town, this little coffee shop tucked in at the heart of the town at one of the old shoplots have been operating for a long time even during Chris's toddling times, where his parents would bring him over for breakfast. It's kinda hard to find an authentic Chinese coffee house in KL or Klang valley nowadays don't you agree?

It's kinda hard for us to bid this year's CNY goodbye, which is only a few days away.
As all of us are aware, CNY's main agenda would be the food spread, welcoming the spirit of family & friends gathering.

It is almost a non-escape tradition; dining in typical Chinese restaurants offering sets with 'RM' that incorporates the number 88 in their menu.
Allow us to share with you, one of the popular Chinese restaurants in our area, that most readers already know, I think.. :)

Ten Hup Hong Kong Chee Cheung Fun @ Kajang

Mention Kajang and you'll shout SATAY!

Since my Kajang boy ditched Satay Kajang quite some time ago and found his new favourite, all the other Kajang delicacies seemed to have trailed off after we returned a year later. Even 7 Wonders Kitchen moved out (still searching for its new location).

However, there is still one more reason for us to fill in our hunger in Kajang as we just couldn't succumb our fixed mindset of this being the best Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun we ever had, and it remained our favourite.

Order a mixed combination of pork and prawns, with its tasty sauce drizzled generously and sprinkled with deep fried shallots, it wouldn't be disappointing.
Price: RM3.80 (small), RM5.50 (big)
