Graduation

Finally....
After all these years of yearning and learning...

I'm a Master of Pharmacy Degree holder! woohoo.....!

Attended the Graduation Ball a day after results are out and it was a blast. truly.

Chris in kilt. His Prince Charlie outfit ;) Love his tartan!

Chris and I will be shifting to London tomorrow morning for the time being and will be back to Glasgow in time for my GRADUATION!
Will keep updating when I'm back!

More pics on the ball next, with many pretty people around :) If time allows.. ;P

I felt so grown-up now. A pharmacist. Sounds good.
and... I'll be returning to Malaysia for good 2 months later! Miss home soooo much! esp my family and friends!

fellow floggers, be prepared to come out makan-makan with me... wheee..

Completed. Almost.

Completion of Part A Master of the Pharmacy Program in IMU.
Something to be proud of.
However, a convocation with the well-groomed robe without a hood nor a mortar board? I was contemplating then whether to attend or not.
In fact, I found out that most of my batchmates did have this mixed feeling.

On second thought, I think I did work hard enough for this. Although not the best, every little itsy bitsy successes achieved should be measured and acknowledged right? And I was actually enjoying the progress of the event. Well, except the rehearsal session where I almost dozed off ;P

As the semesters progresses I became closer with the soon-to-be pharmacist friends. At times, I can see that we were still strangers, but yet chumming up with all of you is at ease. Glad to have all of you with me in Strathclyde!
Let's work...
for the final year at Glasgow....
For the REAL graduation!!!

Portraits to keep at heart!

my beloved parents

He's so supportive

with Prof. Peter :)

my tutor (Mr.Iggy - that's what we named him ;P) and MeiWen the babe.

Mr. Benny - um.. most ppl know him more than I do. As in: in detail. ;P

Being a student is fun sometimes. Despite the stress you'll suffer due to exams and reports, working hard to achieve your desired targets is one excellent way to grow up.

Being a daughter of my parents is a blessing. They never seem to push me hard. Never to fail them is my goal.

Being a GF to my BF is trouble-free. The BF is considerate, understanding and patient enough to listen to my qualms and sometimes I'm nagging him all the way and I suppose he needed a PCM and metoclopramide for the nausea and headache caused. Still Chris loves her ;)

Diligent and painstaking! I want :)

The Food Fair

In the hope to make plans for an event to raise fund for our class's convo mag, the food fair was organized by the committees to furnish more ready money.
Gotta earn it ourselves...
with Food!
The success of this event just can't be denied. From delicious foods to creative game sessions, our batch just earned all the credits before leaving off for the study breaks.

Here are just some depictions that marked our accomplishment.. as a team :)
Thanks to HuiYen for the pictures that I left out that day. *was busy jaga-ing my stall ma* hehe.

HuiYen with all her shares ;P

I was selling the BlueBerry Cheese Tarts and Japanese Cheese Cakes by dear AiWei. Wanna extend & express the gratefulness towards her for doing me this 'delicious' favour :)
To ShuYin, Heu Yee & Carolyn as well, you girls rally around real good.

Other items sold by my batchmates include:

Coleslaw & Soya Agar

Sarawak Laksa & Apple Crumble

Apple Crumble with Vanille Ice Cream!

Assorted Sushis

Herbal Tea Eggs

Pai Tee all the way from Penang!

Chocolate Brownies

Garlic Bread & Mushroom Soup

Mushroom soup in the making by Lydia :)

Screamin' Sandwich by the lovely duo!

Satay Celup!

After satisfying ourselves with foods, my dear friends even came up with this inspired idea of having our version of 'Deal or No Deal' ;P
Exhilarating & hilarious at the same time, pretty sure other students enjoyed every bit of it.

*don't laugh* I think I'm the shortest ;P

A let-know for my batchmates;
Good work! for being collaborative.
Good Luck! for the final shot in IMU.
Let's just hope all of us will do well and assure ourselves to say;
GoodBye! to Malaysia for the final year ;)

Oh dear... let's just hope I can finish revising first, for the moment. *wink*

Class Party @ Izzi, KL

"Hey class.... Since we do not have much of get-togethers and activities for this semester, we shall organize a Class Party!!!!" announced one of my batchmate, Jason :)

Special thanks to HueyWuen, the organizer! We, P106 get to book a floor of Izzi Pizza, Pasta & Coffee located at Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL.

For RM33 per pax, we're catered with food of a buffet style. From starters, main courses to desserts... My friends and I were of course excited about this party as it was held on the day where we finished our last paper of the Finals! This was an arrangement of relaxation and spirit-boosting definitely!

At the main entrance of Izzi

A matching souvenir from the party!

We traveled to KL earlier for some 'window-shopping'. And of course visit Pavillion for the very first time.. they have not fully open up all the shops yet.. So, will make my way there again maybe next month.

I just couldn't describe my feelings, a class party for about 100 friends. For the first time, I'm partying together with sooo... many class mates and this was definitely one successful event organized!

When I arrived at the 2nd floor of Izzi, I was kinda impressed with the ambiance, lightings and settings arranged. A contemporary feeling of excitement and relieved. The dimmed and relaxing environment ~ shall I call it romantic? haha... maybe when only a few people is there, but when the area was filled with more familiar faces later on, it turned into another environment ~ A partay to remember! We had lotsa a picture taking sessions that night!

Flows of drinks are served upon arrival, 2 types; I had the Ice Lemon Tea... not so sure what's the other drink served.

Let's go on with the food......!

As starters, we had the Mushroom soup, somehow, this tasted weird to me.. when I had this, it was already cooling off as I was busy snapping other photos.

the assorted vegetables

Spaghetti Carbonara was the best among the foods served. Creamy and yummy.. A thumbs ups :) As for the Garlic Spread with bread, another starter, known as the Garlic Bread (Baked Pizza Dough with Garlic Butter) I was disappointed. The thick bread tasted bland without the garlic spread.. I suppose that's what it suppose to taste. Never mind, I thought that I'll still have the spread to even out the taste. To my dismay, the 'garlic spread' turn out not so 'garlic-ky' after all.... The garlic aroma was overtook by the amount of butter mixed together with them :( They could have tasted better, I thought....

Jeannie with the garlic spread

The Belacan Fried Rice was kinda... too spicy to my liking :(

Oops.. I forgot what this was called.. but it's a serving of Cambodian Chickens if I'm not mistaken. This is what happens sometimes when I'm writing a back-dated post :(

cambodian chicken

The Izzi Chicken Wings tasted wise as well.. Though its presentation doesn't seem to attract me much, it was somehow delicious...

Not the best Pizza I had. Thought Izzi's famous for their pizzas and pastas.. Perhaps it's my fault to let it lay alone on the table for such a long time before eating them.

Was not really happy with the food they offered, my dear friend weithian claimed that the food on their ala carte menu is way way better...

However, this disappointment have not bring my spirits down, as I'm in the mood for pictures taking with all my cherished batch mates!

As for desserts, we were served with delicious Cream Puffs and Chocolate Brownies! These were satisfying. Before the party starts and as I made my way into the entrance, I've already been captivated by the varieties of desserts sold at the ground floor, at the refrigerated dessert display. Eyeing on them all the time. Just when I saw those cute lil' macaroons, the first thought was, "BBO's creations"! Just don't know why... but this popped up into my thoughts at that moment :)

After the dinner, they organized games and had lucky draws in between..... and Lucky me! I got a key chain! *yay*

with Alvin, PC, HueyWuen and myself with the prize :)
