"Remember to Remember"

The Smokehouse @ Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar Baru

I used to frequent Bangsar’s Telawi neighbourhood. And when we do, we would end up concealing ourselves with high tea or cafes without noticing the newcomer in town; or we would rather called it the hidden gem nestled at Jalan Telawi 3.

If you plan to chill out in a homely English themed eatery, try the Smokehouse, an outlet that offers a mixture of Western, especially English & Thai cusine that will surely tantalize your tastebuds. Smokehouse serves a medley of delicious dishes throughout the day, from breakfast through to dinner! We were lucky enough to enjoy a hearty lunch cum lavish high tea with compliments from the manager, Dennis with our besties, AiWei & KampungboyCitygal.
Used to operate at the KL city centre, the Smokehouse is now moved to Bangsar Baru. Be sure to visit for a homely atmosphere.
Another praise: Their Thai chefs were previously with Rama V!

#1 Ambiance
Loving the aristocratic elements of this outlet while bringing out the vintage sentiment of the English epoch. Old school table and chairs, fireplace and decorative basics like the classic telephone & record player were some atmosphere enhancers.

It was odd to enjoy Thai fares in a Western styled restaurant, but we’re glad they do as the sauce of this appetizers married well to it. Appetite stimulating.

Flower shaped dumpling stuffed with minced chicken. The fillings will rock your tastebuds :)

it's such an odd mix of Thai and English dishes all in one meal. Personally, I missed the one in Camerons and its scones while enjoying the cool air.
