"Remember to Remember"

Kissaten Coffee and Restaurant @ Jaya One, PJ

こんにちは
Hello from me. Apparently the employment rate of the government has decreased tremendously for the past few months and here I am, still jobless, working on a part time basis teaching Japanese. Just kidding on the teaching part. I've been wanting to take up Japanese lessons for years but this has always remained unmotivated. Spent quite some time looking for these Japanese translations, so please do give me some applause *claps in silence*

Ohaiyo Gozaimasu おはようございます friends.
Although there has been numerous posts around on Kissaten, but do allow us to re-share the fares we had during lunch session with AiWei.

ハニーレモン
Honey Lemon - RM5.90

照り焼きポークハンバーガー
Teriyaki Pork Burger -RM8.90
This was the best order. The sauce were tangy and overwhelming. Spread across and beneath the porky thick slice of meat with the right texture. The bun was hot too.

(つくね)卵黄ソースき
Tsukene Teriyaki with Eggyolk sauce - RM8.90
A pretty order, but the teriyaki sauce for this was a tad too sweet to ourliking. However, this japanese chicken sausage cooked yakitori style has quite an alright texture. Thought that they should work more on the sauce.

トンカツ
Tonkatsu - RM16.90
Breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet sliced into bite-sized pieces. The meat is salted and peppered. Dipped in a mixture of flour, eggs and Japanese breadcrumbs before being deep fried, it was crunchy on the outside. This was just satisfactory. So-So.

チョコプディング
Rich Chocolate Pudding - RM6.90
This was one filling sweetheart. Rich chocolate-y taste but we all thought this was just passable. Blame me for liking cakes more than pudding.

One particular thing we didn't like was the noisy environment, especially during lunch hours. Maybe the restaurant is not really spaced out, resulting amplification of voices.
We gobbled up a stodgy meal. A big round of applause to the pork burger for being a champ, chasing away the Monday blues.
