"Ooh.. Girls just wanna have fun!"
It was a perfect Saturday afternoon for a girls day out. We even ditched the boyfriends.
Call us terrible but it was for their own good. Don't wanna hurt their feet as it seemed like an endless shopping marathon for them. *patting on each others shoulders for being the considerate GFs*
We felt lavish for a day.
Spending quality girly times together picking outfits.
Did a model-like photoshooting on HERMES scarves. I meant the real HERMES!
We were hankering for an English high tea tittle-tattle and settled for Café Stelle by Raffles. It is an area that occupies a long, elevated podium and features a runway, mirroring the café’s stylish surroundings.
Another factor that drew us in was the reasonable price: RM50 nett for 2 persons.
We were up for something light during high tea and this portion was shared by the three of us.
- Mini Brushettas
- Mara de Bois Strawberry with Dark Chocolate
- Orange & Carrot Cake
- Assorted Air Dried Fruit Scones with Marmalade, Strawberry Jam & Unsalted Butter
- Blueberry Muffins
- Chocolate Muffin
- Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Sandwich
- Macarons
- Golden Mushroom Risotto Ball
we had 2 pots of tea...
French Earl Grey
Grand Wedding - the fruity one
Verdict: It wasn't really the real deal when it comes to tastewise as only a few selections were good. But we enjoyed the teas and an afternoon tête-à-tête without the BFs (can gossip more on them) was a fun one after hours of shop hopping. Definitely a good stopover for a cuppa and relax with some light snacks. I love the muffins.
Thanks to Citygal for the treat! Very sweet of her :)
