"Remember to Remember"

Sarawak Laksa @ Restoran Tar Chong, Equine Park

Mention Sarawak and we'll be reminiscing all the good food we had back in Miri.

We would rarely venture out our own territory for the hidden good food even when they are just so near us. Don't you agree? Well, maybe not all of you, but definitely us. *shy*

Sarawak Laksa.
I mentioned Sarawak again. Let's muse over Part 2 and 3 this time.

Sarawak Laksa.
We've not tried the famous Sarawak Laksa stall in Bangsar, obviously Aunt Christina's, although there has been so much rave and enthusiasm going about that made us really wanna go. Too bad, we didn't. YET. *shy again*

This time, we decided to loiter around our area for food seriously and plan to blog about it.
Yes, it's Sarawak Laksa. From Equine Park, Seri Kembangan

This could match the the one we had back in Miri although I've heard that Kuching's version was way better. And the uncle selling this Laksa is from Kuching. Claimed that it was his hometown recipe, it was worth trying. I love its taste of sour tamarind, garlic, galangal and lemon grass. With its base of sambal belacan and coconut milk too, this huge portion topped with omelette strips, chicken strips, prawns, fresh coriander and lime.

Next catch would be at Aunt Christina's Sarawak Laksa. Hope we have time to hop over :)
Oh. And I love their Kolo Mee too. Though their noodles are no match to the real stuff, it still has the right taste! The uncle mentioned that it's just too expensive to ship over the noodles all the way from Kuching. Too bad :(

hi :)
Sarawak Laksa has lotsa shrimps. Yum ;)

jfook~
we find them quite decent actually. But compared to the real stuff in Sarawak, it's definitely no match esp the Kolo Mee. But this is one of the closest tatse we could find. I've heard so much about Kuching's Sarawak Laksa! but the last time we went to Miri. So didn't have to chance to get the taste of it ;P
Have you tried Aunt Christina's one in Bangsar? Heard thay are very good too. ^^

misaMisaN~

Yup, there are some awesome ones in Kuching. I don't know why though but I'm not a big fan of Sarawak Laksa, much prefer Assam Laksa. :)
