"Remember to Remember"

Starlight Seafood Restaurant 陈洧记海鲜楼 @ Seri Kembangan

While Seri Kembangan is being populated slowly by new cafes, steamboat houses and 'dai chow' Chinese restaurants, there's still one family restaurant that we would make a 'come-back'.

A seafood restaurant famous for their 'Christmas Island Red Crabs crawling during the mating & migration season' wall. And now, they've expanded their dining space with an air-conditioned area, also amplified with a under-the-sea wall.

We would never forget to make an order for my fav crustacean. Yes. The Crab.

Crab in Spicy & Sour Sauce
The sauce was a wee bit sour for me this time. But the crabs were quite fresh :)

Claypot Butter Crab
Creamy gravy with curry leaves that boosted the flavour. We would usually go for their Salted eggs Crab. A good try :)
However, we still prefer Hau Kee's. Much creamier , tastier and more gravies that flooded the crabs ;)

Signature Tofu (Beancurd) with sweet & sour Thai sauce
A must order each time. Their tofu would not go wrong. Infused with fish paste in the middle.

Braised Pork Belly with bread
Just mediocre. Sauce was tad too sweet to our liking.

Claypot "Shui Yu" (soft shell turtle with a pointy snout) with Ginger & Spring Onion

Verdict:
Say to say, we thought the quality had deteriorated since our last visit. Seemed like most of the sauces went wrong. I hope our next visit for crabs again would excite me again...

Sometimes it's difficult to maintain the quality huh? Aren't sui yu categorized as exotic meat?
