My girlfriends and I have a big thing for desserts. Most girls do I know.
When it comes to pastries, cakes or even breads. We're unstoppable.
What's more if it's stone oven baked pastries! Well it was written on the wall as I stepped into Levain Boulangerie Patisserie.
This time I've decided to keep the "who-haas" down when I dated Chris here for a light tea session on his birthday. Levain Boulangerie Patisserie gave us a feeling of aristocratic as I adjourned in. One look on the left filled with pastries and bread fresh from the oven (oh yes, you could definitely tell). The other glance on the right will make you smirk in triumph as you spotted the cakes and chocolate corner that screams "Take me!"
I was so tempted to barge in and order some spaghetti and turkey ham sandwiches but I was just too full. Being temporary non-greedy, we had a little desserts to compensate:

Apricot Pastry
Chocolate Mousse
Affordable pastries, cakes, bread and other hot food like pastas. Don't know about their main meals but we prefer their pastries and bread items to the cakes. A tad too sweet to our liking when it comes to the mousse cake we selected. A great place for lunch & high-tea with friends and family.
Another disappointment we had for the day was when the staff announced about the 'finished' Macaroons. Was tempted to try but, well better luck next time :) Hope they r good.
