"Remember to Remember"

Xian Ding Wei Taiwanese Xpress 鲜定味台湾快餐 @ Sg. Wang Plaza, KL

A short post before we continue on our travel bits again :)
I can't believe I went back to KL again on my off day.
I do not mind at all as I was hanging out with my girlfriends this time and not dating my job.

As we were loitering around Sg. Wang Plaza, we stopped by a Taiwanese restaurant for lunch. Captured by their set deal, we gave in almost immediately.

Here's what they offer:
A set that came together with a main dish (sauce of your choice), either rice or sweet potato porridge & side dishes of the day.

Warmed up our tummy with their hot soup and appetizers.

Chicken with Three Varieties Supreme Brown Sauce
Being a first-timer in tasting the 'sam pui gai' (one of the famous dish in taiwan that uses equal amount of sesame oil, soy sauce and wine)

Boneless Chunky Pork with Honey
A mediocre preparation that went well with the porridge.

Deep Fried Squid in Salt & Pepper
This was kinda dry but the crunchy texture had me keep going.

Taiwan Bubble Tea (Pearl Milk Tea) was disappointing. All this while I'm not a big fan of bubble tea and still are. Tasted very artificial to me.

A side order of Sweet Potato Balls was kinda regretful too. It may be huge, but the fillings were poor.

Verdict: Guess I'll not return for more although their sets are quite worth it but tastewise, it's not too inviting and memorable after all.

Disclaimer: This is our personal dining experience and we do not intend to forbid patrons/ readers from trying for themselves. Perhaps you think they've already improved, do drop by and tell us :)
